Milan Restaurant & Bar Guide

Roy's Barbeque & Hamburgers

25 Wabash Street
Milan, MI 48160
(734) 439-1737

There is always some kind of competition to determine which establishment has the best burger. Well, we don't know if Roy's is the best there is, but it is certainly worth biting into because then you can make your own determination. The sides they serve are very filling as well. And one of the best parts about eating here is that you will not have to bring a wad of money. If you are looking for a challenge, then you will want to take on the Bubba Burger. One thing you need to be aware of before you visit 25 Wabash Street is that the place is very small. They have 6 stools and 5 tables, but even if you can't get in, there is always takeout.

Don Juan Mexican Bar & Grill

38 E. Main Street.
Milan, MI 48160<
(734) 439-7774

This place claims to have the most authentic Mexican cuisine in the Milan area. And we are certainly in no position to argue with them because frankly, we agree. The first thing that we want you to know if you need to beware of the large portions at 38 E. Main Street. You will definitely be having a two or three meals from what you order at Don Juan. They do have a full bar which offers beer, wine, and mixed drinks of only the top quality. And the service staff just puts this place over the top with their attentiveness, professionalism and courteous behaviour.

Fenders Bar & Grill

20 Wabash Street
Milan, MI 48160
(734) 439-3474

Prime rib is the claim to fame of this little establishment. Not only is the prime rib dinner much less expensive than what a fancy steakhouse would charge, if you listen to what most of the regular patrons of 20 Wabash Street are saying, it tastes better too. The beer and the drinks are satisfying and the bartenders really know what they are doing. It is definitely a small town bar because everybody knows everybody. But actually that is one of the charming aspects of the place, it feels like a kick back to another time and place and you are going to love every minute you spend here.

China One

29 E. Main Street
Milan, MI 48160
(734) 439-8401

The owners of 29 E. Main Street are originally from the Fujian province in China and most of their cooking style comes from that area. Needless to say, these folks know what they are doing. We recommend the Orange Chicken or the sweet-n-sour chicken on your first visit, but you really can't go wrong with any choice you would make from the menu. Whatever you decide to order, your portion will be huge. They believe in giving you your money's worth and more. We wouldn't be surprised if you made this a regular stop and we believe you will.

Original Gravity Brewing Company

440 County Street
Milan, MI 48160
(734) 439-7490

Aren't you tired of the same old same old. Why not bust out and try something new. We have a great opportunity for you. This place serves up simple but tasty food in the form of out of this world sandwiches. But the star of the show are the amazing selection of micro brews. It is very low keyed so feel free to bring whatever you want to keep you occupied, a laptop, good book, or even some playing cards. But don't waste any time, visit 440 County Street very soon, it is just what the doctor ordered for your mind, your body and your well being.

Basil Boys

527 West Main Street
Milan, MI 48160
(734) 439-7700

Few things in life are more comforting than a great pizza. And at 527 West Main Street, that is exactly what they concentrate on day after day. Do they offer other menu items, yes, quite a few in fact. But their specialty is definitely the pizza pie. Every month they feature a different pizza and the offer different types from hand panned to Chicago style to gourmet. When you order your pizza, whichever one you decide on, you want to make sure that you order hot garlic butter breadsticks because they are the perfect complement to your pizza.
