Saline Restaurant & Bar Guide

Mac's Acadian Seafood Shack

104 East Michigan Avenue
Saline, MI 48176
(734) 944-6227

This location has a historic feel because it is in a restored Saline landmark. While only opening in 1996, Mac's has quickly become a fixture in the community. The menu at 104 East Michigan Avenue is inspired by the owner's Nova Scotia heritage which combines fresh fish and seafood with a Cajun flare. You won't believe the creations that they produce here: gumbo, spicy Cajun shrimp, and hearty jambalaya just to name a few. But you must finish the night with their homemade key lime pie, your taste buds are going to be dancing a jig and so will you.

Everything that comes out of the kitchen is made from absolutely fresh ingredients, nothing frozen or microwaved here. The staff at 105 West Michigan Avenue is extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and the venue is beautiful. This is a place that you are going to want to make a regular stop because you need this kind of experience in your life.

A locals hangout but where all are welcome. You will find the crowd to be very interesting because it is quite an eclectic mix. The food at 8452 Boettner Road is more than filling. The place is definitely kept clean which is always a good thing and they make everything in-house including the potato chips. Check out their specials which are nightly and enjoy a wide array of beers for very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is best described as very casual and homey.
